MATTHEW 15:29-31
29 Moving on from there, Jesus passed along the Sea of Galilee. He went up on a mountain and sat there, 30 and large crowds came to him, including the lame, the blind, the crippled, those unable to speak, and many others. They put them at his feet, and he healed them. 31 So the crowd was amazed when they saw those unable to speak talking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, and they gave glory to the God of Israel.
HEAR:
Keeping in mind Psalm 139:23 which says “ Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.” Ask the Lord - what kind of healing do I need right now - emotional, physical, mental, spiritual?
What kind of healing do those around me need?
Verse 30 says “They put them at his feet, and he healed them” - What does it look like to be at the feet of Jesus?
RESPOND:
Verse 31 says “the crowd was amazed” and another Bible translation says “the crowd wondered”. Spend time praising God and being in awe and wonder of who He is.
Intercede for those around you. Pray that we would be a people and church who brings the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and everyone to the feet of Jesus.
Pray that in everything, God will be gloried - that the lamb will receive the reward of his suffering (Revelation 5:12-13)
